Free access to Lake Klopein
All our guests have access to the bathing beach of the Orasch lake community (Zanzibeach) on Lake Klopein. The beach on Lake Klopein can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, or by bicycle or car in 5-10 minutes. Free parking is available directly at the beach.
On the beach there is a ping-pong table and a children's play structure. During the season, sun loungers are available for rent, and there is also storage space for your own loungers, inflatable boats, air mattresses, etc. A small kiosk sells drinks and snacks.

The Nora holiday home offers you a wide range of opportunities to fully enjoy and relax during your holiday. Surrounding the house is a very large, fully fenced lawn for sunbathing and playing, which our guests share. Here you can relax on the loungers or get active at the table tennis table. We also have a large play tower and a sandbox for our youngest guests.

The story of holiday home Nora at Lake Klopein
The Nora holiday home on Lake Klopein has been around for over 30 years. Still family-owned, it was originally built to create a second home with a welcoming atmosphere in the idyllic holiday region of Lake Klopein, Southern Carinthia, and the Lavant Valley. Accessibility was a key focus due to a family member using a wheelchair. Each apartment is named after one of the family's three children. The Hanna extension was added a few years later. All in all, the property offers 19 beds (including pull-out beds) for larger groups. We now have many enthusiastic repeat guests who return year after year and love our holiday home on Lake Klopein – especially families with young children, but also people with disabilities, active guests, or those simply seeking peace and relaxation.
But we ourselves still enjoy using the house a lot for ourselves.
To ensure professional on-site management and to always have a contact person for you, we have entrusted the house to Ms. Silke Egger - Kärnten Apartment Turnersee for rental purposes. She looks forward to hearing from you.
